With ten years of experience in child protection and social inclusion, Chiara Curto Pelle currently leads, for Save the Children Italy, a national program combating human trafficking and exploitation, with particular focus on minors and mothers at risk of sexual exploitation, re-trafficking, and other forms of exploitation.
She has developed official Standard Operating Procedures and manuals with indicators for identifying minors and young adult victims of trafficking and exploitation.
After graduating in human rights and multilevel governance, Chiara gained years of field experience before transitioning into program management, where she continues to champion the protection and empowerment of vulnerable populations.
